Tomorrow is my second class of the “Wild Medicine” course and we were asked to bring something to a cerimony: something that meant something to us. Could be something we made, or a somg, etc.. Something with meaning and that we couls literally gift to the earth and that didnt causw pollution.
This got me thinking on what I could bring. While I am not too fond of this sort of exercises – in general – I really enjoy the thinking process that these usually spark.
These prompts usually make me think of how far my life had come in the past years, all the things that changed, the things I am grateful for, and where I want to go and be.
I think Ive settled on taking some rose prunnings. Two weeks ago we spent a hole day prunning our roses: we have tons, cause my grandma loved them so planted loads of them around. Plus, roses are super resilient !!
The thing about that day is that it symbolizes not only all Ive learned in the past years but also what we see in the future. We are so grateful for the oportunity to take care of that land and believe 100% that there’s a higher mission here for us. So while I didnt make those roses, they’re definitely a big part of me already and I am.looking forward to seeing them bloom once again!
So this one is for you – what would you take?

With your roses, you could mix the petals with red clover flowers. It’s delicious and good for your skin!!! Enjoy your class!! -Di
Hii! Totally missed your comment last week, but thank you so much for the tip! Sounds like a plan for when they blossom 🙂 THANK YOU!
